Spring Training First Day

Hey everybody, the first day of camp went well today. Here's what happened...

We started with headshots at 8:30
9:00 baserunning refresher course
10:00 Stretch, 3 lap warmup, intersquad game for six pitchers.
Henkel, Stevens, Evert, Pennington, DePriest, and Lira all threw today.
Infield Lineup was Burkhart, Todd, Hart, Gonzalez, Van Note, Foster, Williams, Hileman

12:10 Broke for lunch

2:00 Batting Practice in cages for 60 minutes.

It was a long day for the first day, and we are doing it all again tomorrow.

Another side note, Rene Aqueron was sent to Camden today. He never even made an appearance with us today before being delt.

Another thing to note Rob Henkel had an interesting off-season purchasing a rock quarry in addition to other business ventures. Told Rob I would let everyone know...

Just to remind everyone I will being doing player profiles later in the season so everyone can learn a little more about the players.

Thanks for the information. If you can keep us posted on how Spring training is going. I am looking forward to hearing all about it either as it occurs or when you get back.

Yesterday, there was a nice article in the sports section about you and your goals :)
