Well, the series in Newark went really well for us, winning all three. Looks like we may finally be playing up to our potential. Hopefully we can keep it up againest Camden. We signed a new utility guy over the weekend. Hopefully we can add a couple more pieces we need to really compete againest the rest of this league. We still need another righty in the bullpen, and another power bat in the lineup.

Hi J.T.
Congrats on a great weekend... especially loved the 10 inning win.. Chewed my nails on that one. Hope Lance isn't out to long. He needs to be more careful on those off days!!
P.S.
Love the cartoon.
Just trying to get an old question of mine answered...as a pro athlete, do you still love the game of baseball or is there a point at which it becomes just a job? I've loved the game since I was a little girl and I'm assuming you probably loved it as a kid as well. It would be sad if having the opportunity to play professionally changed that. Just wondering!
Hey
Tough loss last night. I was there watching. I was very frustrated with what looked like a pitch about 3 inches high to strike Danny out at the end, and apparently Frank was upset too. I was just wondering, as a player, what do you say/think to motivate yourself and your teammates after an inning like the top of the 9th last night, when nothing seems to go right? If you get a chance, make sure Derrick knows we are pulling for him. He has had a great year so far, and one night shouldn't mess with that. See you at a game soon!
we all still love playing the game, because playing here is not about the money, i think we just take it a little more seriously now than before.
it is always hard to stay up after an inning like that but we are professionals here and we know we have a job to do even if you are upset.
yeah! that was a well deserved win last night.
