Why dont you worry about the season and forget about your teammates. I am sure they would love this article on them!

i am fine for the season and i think i can do whatever i want, and i did not say anything about my teammates. all i wanted was peoples opinion. i am on the list along with everyone else. there is nothing wrong with having this discussion, i have had the same conversation with the people who signed them as well as my manager. it always amazes me that the people who say things like this are always anonymous, because they don't have the guts to say who they are. i have not done anything wrong with this post and have a great relationship with all of my teammates, and you can ask any of them about me. as for the season, i don't think that i have ever not been ready for the season, so, if you have a problem with me or my page then just leave...

as for the real response to the question, all 4 of the guys you listed have never been seen by myself so i don't know. martinez did pitch for the mariners for 8 seasons, 4 of which i think were in AAA, and averages about 8-9 k's per nine innings. as for the other guys i will have to see them first. i do not have an opinion on who will not be coming back, i just want to get what the fans are thinking about. i do not envy frank's position on this decision, it will be very hard. the people we let go might still end up in the league with another team out of spring training, since that always happens with some players.

YEA THE Road Warriors are always looking :)

I agree with Barnstorming. I know that Dietrick would be on the list because of having Burkhart and Santana. The only reason he would stay is if Manny is not fully recovered from his injury that he had at the end of last year. BTW. Thanks for coming up with this Jeremy. It lets us the fans play coach. I don't envy Frank but know he will put together a great and competitve team. BTW. I was at the tryouts this past Saturday (as a fan). It was an intersting process to watch, especially at a temperature of 35 degrees. I hope our fanfest turnout is more than Camden's. Can't wait till May 4. Go Stormers!

wow anonymous...thats pretty strong stuff..why don't you create an account and tell us how you really feel? and if you can't do that then why attack Jeremy on his own site? All Jeremy wants here is opinions from others and a little discussion before the season starts....he's just trying to get some things going on the site. He never made any comments about anyone on the team or opinions either way. Everyone on the team has to realize that, at this point, there are 27 players and only room for 24 on the roster. He just wants some friendly discussion...nothing else. Looking over the list of guys we signed and such I have to agree..I think Frank will have a really tough decision to make on the cuts for the team after spring training. I pretty much am sure that Dietrick will be gone..only because teams always take an extra catcher to spring training to catch the pitchers. Neither Burkhart or Santana will be cut. Our 3rd string catcher (emergency) will be Jeremy Todd. As for the other guys we picked up...they are unknowns as Jeremy has stated..but whomever is cut most likely will be on the Road Warriors..that seems to always happen. I don't think that Martinez will be gone.....unfortunately I feel that one the bullpen guys from last year could possibley be cut. Not sure who...its just a feeling I get. let's just hope that everyone has a great spring training and makes it that much tougher on Frank. I am POSITIVE that Jeremy is ready for the season...whether that's to your liking or not anonymous.....when the bell rings for the season Jeremy WILL be ready!

Jeremy
Will you be answering questions here during the season?

Stormin said...

After reading an article on Jason's site and looking more closely at numbers, I would say Martinez stays and Norderum goes. His ERA is higher. Boy, this is fun playing coach.

Barnstorming said...

I have to agree with scott, now that i see the numbers

Norderum is a lefty correct?

Stormin said...

Yes, he is a lefty.
