Barnstormers taking shape
Just to let you all know the team is beginning to take shape, we currently have 11 players agreed to contracts. Plus, hopefully, 3 more coming soon. Can't say who they are though, they will be released soon. I also know there are fireworks and code red opening night, plus possibly a couple giveaways but they are not confirmed yet.

Just because a player signs a contract doesn't mean he will be with the club on opening day, Correct?
he could do crappy in spring training and someone else could look better.
yes, that is right. the contract is set up in all minor league baseball favoring the team. they have the overall power in the contract. they can release you at any time they want except the first 10 days after a season starts in some leagues for continuity. if they feel someone is better they can release you and sign them whenever they want. on the other hand you cannot leave and play anywhere else unless they release your rights or trade you to another team.
